MSNBC - in the Business of Dangerous Propaganda

MSNBC - in the Business of Dangerous Propaganda

Yesterday I used an MSNBC broadcast in a blog piece to highlight how ridiculous the Health Care Reform Debate has become in Washington.

Today I find MSNBC was back in true form while broadcasting truly disturbing & dangerous far left Propaganda News
.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

From NEWSBUSTERS - http://newsbusters.org/blogs/kyle-drennen/2009/08/18/msnbc-no-mention-black-gun-owner-among-racist-protesters

MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer fretted over health care reform protesters legally carrying guns: "A man at a pro-health care reform rally...wore a semiautomatic assault rifle on his shoulder and a pistol on his hip....there are questions about whether this has racial overtones....white people showing up with guns." Brewer failed to mention the man she described was black.

Following Brewer’s report, which occurred on the Morning Meeting program, host Dylan Ratigan and MSNBC pop culture analyst Toure discussed the supposed racism involved in the protests. Toure argued: "...there is tremendous anger in this country about government, the way government seems to be taking over the country, anger about a black person being president....we see these hate groups rising up and this is definitely part of that." Ratigan agreed: "...then they get the variable of a black president on top of all these other things and that’s the move – the cherry on top, if you will, to the accumulated frustration for folks."

Not only did Brewer, Ratigan, and Toure fail to point out the fact that the gun-toting protester that sparked the discussion was black, but the video footage shown of that protester was so edited, that it was impossible to see that he was black. The man appeared at a health care rally outside of President Obama’s speech to the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Phoenix, Arizona.

Real Health Care Reform - NO WE CAN'T

Real Health Care Reform - NO WE CAN'T

I'm not a huge fan of MSNBC to be candidly honest.

Yet, this clip was interesting to watch since it begins to show you how this current administration has started to implode on the very principles they were elected upon.

Why will Health Care Reform end up being a huge failure? Because the Health Insurance Industry and Big PhRMA will own it, and our government.

What does that mean for you as an American citizen and consumer? You will continue to get screwed over by greedy corporations that are not concerned about your health care; because they are concerned first and foremost about their bottom lines and making profits.

This in turn will just keep escalating the rising cost of Health Care in America; while sending all of us further into debt with less health care options and reduced quality of care.

Once again leading us down the path to an eventually doomed plan and failed system that is firmly entrenched today. This no doubt in the end will bankrupt our nation, and leave a staggering debt future generations will never be able to repay without dramatic and unfortunate negative consequences.

So when you hear the words "HEALTH CARE REFORM" You should be thinking "follow the MONEY$$$$"

Do you want Government Health Care when you see how corrupt the FDA runs

Do you want Government Health Care Reform when you see how corrupt the FDA runs?

FDA OKs Schering-Plough Drug Saphris (asenapine) for Schizophrenia, Bipolar

The FDA reasoning behind this approval is that Saphris in clinical studies ran and paid for by the drug manufactures outperformed absolutely nothing. That's right, even if the side effects include death (and this drug has killed in trials and was turned down for approval once before).

All those greedy PhRMA folks have to show our great Health Agency and Government Body is some trumped up data, pay off the right people over at the FDA, have some ghost writers cook & publish data, just show even with known horrendous side effects it works better than simply nothing, and another poison pill in on the market for the American Public to consume.

So you know, Merck is looking to buy out Schering-Plough in the near future. So they will now become a huge player in the killer Anti-Psychotic market place; competing with Zyprexa, Seroquel, and like drugs for the highest American Public Body Count.

So what does this have to do with Health Reform Legislation?

PhRMA is committed to spending millions of dollars backing Obama's Health Care Plan after holding close door meetings at the White House.

This tells us and sends HUGE WARNING SIGNALS out that Big Phrma has bought and paid it's way inside the White House with some back room shady deals; and that means a bad deal pretty much each and every time for the American Public.

If the FDA is an example of what this administration has in store in the way of health care reform. In my personal opinion you take your plan and shove it!

Read a lot more of the dirt on this new poison pill just approved by your PhRMA owned FDA @ soulful sepulcher on Saphris

As a follow up to this post:

Over @

Psycho Donuts much better than Psycho Medications

Psycho Donuts much better than Psycho Medications

From what I can gather from all the web articles and those so called mental health advocates; there has been quite a Brouhaha going on about this Donuts Shop in Northern California calling itself "Psycho Donuts" -

Psycho Donuts {fun web site to visit by the way)

NAMI and like organizations have actually made this some type of laughable social correctness pet issue.

I have to wonder now if BIG PhRMA is concerned people will stop taking their mind poisons; and instead take the donuts options for all those new DSM-V diagnosis? There is little doubt they would end up much healthier, with less disabling side effects, and with much less weight gain on donuts verses the Psych Drugs Model.

Plus the cost difference could actually make Health Coverage for every American a distinct Possibility. Maybe President Obama should look into this as an effective cost saving measure when selling his shaky health reform package to the House of Representatives?

Anywise, you would think those so called silly clowns at NAMI and like front organizations for PhRMA would have better things to do than complain about donuts.

How about some housing, jobs, community support, and non-drug options for those you are supposed to advocate for. This is just to mention a few important issues you could be spending your time and PhRMA dollars confronting.

My opinion is these donuts look damned tasty, and this appears like a novel, creative, and innovative business concept. All you Nanny State "PC" loving morons out there may disagree. I can only say that you should go stick some nice hot donuts where the sun don't shine.

May I also add that you may want to start searching for a life sometime during this 21st century.

Ray Sandford - Some Good News Finally

Ray Sandford - Some Good News Finally

From MindFreedom International News - 6 August 2009

Ray Sandford just phoned MindFreedom with some very good news.

As you may know, Ray is a 55-year-old Minnesota resident who has
received more than 40 involuntary electroshocks (also known as
"electroconvulsive therapy" or ECT).

Today, Ray said because of his campaign his new psychiatrist -- who
opposes forced electroshock -- has been officially approved by the
mental health system.

Ray already has a new attorney, who is moving toward changing Ray's
guardianship.

Meanwhile, because of the campaign the Minnesota state legislature has
scheduled a hearing this Monday, 10 August, on the subject of
electroshock of committed Minnesota residents.
