Senate passes bill to extend Kendra’s Law, legislation now goes to governor (updated)

The Senate gave final passage this morning to legislation that extends Kendra’s Law for five years. The vote was unanimous—55-0—although a few Republicans said they would prefer to have been voting for legislation that made the law permanent. The statute authorizes court-ordered outpatient treatment for seriously mentally ill individuals who could harm themselves or others.

Of course we know this is all about the fear mongering campaign by the "new eugenics movement" pushed by TAC and E Fuller Torrey's "The mentally unhygienic, poor, and homeless" are dangerous and pose an exstreme risk to society with his regurgitated line of horrific and dangerous propaganda & thinking. So now we must pass/extend more laws to intrude upon, force medicate, and control all those deemed "crazy".

Jeez? who was it that used this same kind of fear mongering propaganda to exterminate those with developmental disabilities and altered mental constitutions in are not so distant history? I believe the group started with the letter "N" and their leaders name started with an "H"?

So Kendra's law only targets the dangerous ones correct? Think again folks, Rome was not built in a day, or was pre-world war 2 Germany an over night hit sensation. They applied the subtle "HATE" message slowly and steadily until the label began to stick and gain traction with the general populous.

I just happened upon this news flash article from Chico California this morning where the clone of Kendra's Law is named Laura's Law.

Let us all remember those that maybe in some form of emotional crisis, or have been deemed mentally unhygienic have not broken any laws or are they inanely more dangerous or violent than any segment of the population. But you would not get this impression by reading this articles and news alert below.

Please tell me now how TAC, NAMI, like others, and Big Pharma are working so hard to remove the stigmatization from mental health labels.

Police searching for man who fled from mental health facility

CHICO — A man who escaped from a mental health facility in north Chico Monday was sought by police, but not found.

Police said Matthew Wheeler, 25, was last seen about 1:45 p.m. running down the southbound onramp to Highway 99 at Cohasset Road.

An extensive search by police failed to locate the man.

Police described Wheeler as "passive" but said he may not have access to medications, which could alter his behavior.

Wheeler is described as Asian, about 5-foot-7, 130 pounds, with black, wavy hair.

He was last seen wearing a green shirt and jeans.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to call Chico police at 897-4900.

I'm actually going to step out on a limb here by asking you the reader to take pause and think for a moment. Where is this all leading? Why are you still sitting there in your seat not doing anything to stop it?

History and the sad facts tell us that there was a society in Europe that exhibited very similar behavior (of not standing up against evil tyranny) not so long ago.
